At first, AgeOfSpace can be a bit confusing, especially for those who are not accustomed to browser games. But even if it is not the first browsergame you play, it is normal to have problems and questions, since a newcomer does not know everything. We want to provide support for both groups of players in order to make it easier to learn everything related to AgeOfSpace in a very simple way. As Douglas Adams would say: Do not panic ... you will understand everything after reading this guide.



We do not pretend that this project is a replacement of the tutorial that is in-game (as you may have noticed), but an addition to it. In this tutorial you will receive rewards given by the accomplishment of several important missions, at the same time that you are building your empire. Here, in the wiki, you will find detailed and illustrated information needed at the beginning of the game and, most importantly, all the suggestions you may need to succeed in later stages of AgeOfSpace.


If this is your first Browsergame there are some special features with which you must familiarize yourself quickly to enjoy and survive within the game. Unlike conventional computer games, AgeOfSpace continues to evolve if you're not sitting at the computer. This means that while working or sleeping, thousands more players can be connected in your universe and can even attack you. AgeOfSpace does not need any additional software, can be played on any computer, phone or tablet with internet connection and with a web browser. You have to think of more strategies than you would need in a normal game where you can save, load or finish the game whenever you like. But do not worry, this tutorial will provide you with all the information you need and it will not take you long to get used to it.

As in any other game, it is advisable to first get a general idea of the interface. You may feel overwhelmed by the amount of information you will see at first but you will get used to it quickly. One of the most important elements that immediately draws attention to the user is the different types of resources located at the top of the page. AgeOfSpace revolves around these resources most of the time: Titanium, Graphene and Deuterium. They are necessary for the construction of buildings and ships, as well as for the investigations. Energy, in general, is used for good production of mines. The fifth resource, the Antimateria, plays a special role and will be presented later in the chapter of Premium features.


On the left side of the page you will find another important element: the Main Menus of the game. In each one you can find vital information about the state of your empire and the universe where you play. These menus allow you to unlock and build all units, buildings and defenses, conduct research as well as send fleet missions. The following chapters will explain these issues in detail. The Galaxy section directs you to the map of all the planets and systems of the universe, which will have more importance in the later stages of the game. The message system can be found by clicking on the icon that shows an envelope, below the resources, that will shine and show a number when there are new messages, or reports generated by the system while playing as messages from other players.

On the right side of the page is the register of planets that you own (also above). At the beginning only one planet is shown, but in later stages of the game, when you have more colonies, you can easily navigate your planets from that menu. Both at the top and bottom of the page you can find a border that includes links to the Classification, Options, Support, Forum, Game Rules and other important information that should be reviewed as this tutorial is completed.

To be successful you have to collect as many resources as possible and invest them in the account. To achieve this goal, you can extract them from the mines of your planets and trade with other players, or attacking your competitors and stealing their resources while protecting your own from others.

From a previous update, AgeOfSpace has a mobile version, to access it, you only need to press "mobile version" either from the home page or from the game. If you find an error or have a suggestion for better performance, we encourage you to post it in the forum!
