How to colonise.

Go to the galaxy tab. Select the system you want to place a planet in. Move mouse over planet number. Select colonise. Check Missions to see requirements to colonise.

Planets become available to colonise each 2 levels of expedition research. at level 1 expedition research you are able to have a total of 2 planets, at 3 you will be able to have 3 planet. at 5 =4 planet 7 = 5 planet and so.

Your 1st planet, will not be able to be placed in locations 1, 2, 3, 13, 14, 15, The expedition research level will have to be higher to colonise on those locations.

Planets 7,8,9 offer the higher level planets, Planets size is best judged by the fields a planet holds.

Where to place.

Lets suppose you start in system 200 and an attack on the system 199 takes 1 hour an attack 150 takes 2 hours from system 200 you can attack any player in 2 hours each side of you if you have 2 planets in system 200 you still only have the same planet to gain extra resources from If you move to a different system for the second planet you open your resource farming to a wider area more then then one planet in a system, makes you an advantageous target in that system
